NAKED WITH NIECY NASH

TNT requested we create an animated show open for the network’s first late night show endeavor, featuring the ever stunning, Niecy Nash. The show title is inspired by her best-selling book,  It’s Hard to Fight Naked, and is justly and provocatively called Naked.

Niecy is FIERCE! Niecy is BOLD! Niecy is FUN! And we needed to bang out an eye-stopping, thought-provoking animation that reflected all of those characteristics.

We were given insights and mock-ups of the set design to help us envision how the graphics would play out on stage. Our minds went wild thinking up treatments for this open but we eventually captured visuals in Photoshop that speak to the glamor and the topics discussed as part of show format, and used Adobe After Effects to give them pop and punch in a way that would kept up with Niecy’s sharp personality.
